turbo install now a CEL

The UTEC is most likely set to ignore that sensor since most people with one will have an uppipe of some sort. Puting the resistor in will NOT harm anything. You can remove it all and go back to stock with no problems. Just put the resistor in or put the Utec back in with a recal. Since you just changed out the turbo.

Also when i do the resistor, what if i take out the resistor, will everything still function properly, if i happen to put my car back to stock?

Once you remove the resistor, and plug the EGT probe back in, everything will be normal again. No worries. here is a thread that has all the info you'll need for the resistor mod. Enjoy.

Just another wrench for you
A p0546 indicates that temp are too low, so how can you have low temperature??? well, when people get this code it can be from the sensor not being installed. if that was the case you'd hear the exhaust leak. but you don't have that right? The other reason for the code...your EGT probe is dead...no longer functioning

yup, no leak, but its broken? i havent even touched it, and i know its tight in there because i checked after the install. That's weird, maybe i'll put my stocker back on and see what happens someday.
did the probe get fried or something?
also would this cel cause me from feeling the turbo completely, like the cel is limiting things to be safe, even though boost and egts were fine?
