okay if you have an complete oem wrx stock the factory turbo falls on its face after 5k rpm . start off by install boost gauge and see your boost preasure if u have no boost leaks u should be making 13.5 - 14.5 after 3k -5k rpm. Old gas could be a problem the octance number make be low causing an knock retarding your timing cause a slow car.
