Timing belt 2002 wrx

So my car is still misfiring on cylinders 1 and 3. I've ruled out spark plugs at this point and swapped the coil off 2 and no change . Also fuel is getting to the cylinders as both plugs have gas on them. I'm leaning towards an ignition problem with the timing or spark. The motor I have the ej20 is a coil on plug. My question is , is there a distributer for the plug wires and if so where is it located in the bay? Secondly assuming its not a spark issue from a bad distributer and it's ignition timing would a skipped tooth cause a misfire on only two cylinders? Please if you have any info anyone please let me know as Im stumped at this. Point . Thank you in advance

It's worth looking at considering how easy it is to check. Has the timing belt been replaced? Mine was pretty strecthed (and potentially causing my misfires) at 92k.
