Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Question technical rebuild ??

ok i blew my ej20 and i am rebuilding. new rods pistons ect. now my quiestion will a usdm sti crank work in order to get a longer stroke? if it will will it raise compression. the pistons i ordered are ross racing pistons with a 92mm bore witch is stock i believe. and those pistons are 8.5:1 compression. so will the sti crank raise the compression too high because i am planning on a gt35 in feb/mar time frame?

thanks for input

Gil

No the USDM (EJ25T) crank will not work in the (EJ20T) block. Talk to Crawford or AxisPower about building a motor, they will be able to help get you something good setup in your car.

Good luck,
Austin
