Question for you technical guys. Need some help

I had my tvg housings port matched to my intake manifold and had some imperfectsion pulled out. I am using the factory subaru gasket that is in between the tvg housing and the intake manifold. the gasket is smaller than the port sizes so how do i effectively cut the gasket down. i tried with a rasor blade but the gasket is metal. any ideas on how to do it properly. here is a picture so you can get the idea of what i am doing.
