Yeah, I figured if I get the 18G now, it'll save me the hassle of having to purchase a larger turbo down the road.

I think I'll go with the Blouch TD05H-18G from extremepsi http://www.extremepsi.com/store/cust...at=1614&page=1 with the all the upgraded parts and ill stay at the standard 7c^2 housing. and i'll go with the turbo xs tmic from speed element.

is there anything else I need to get to support the new turbo? I already have 1300cc injectors and a new clutch on the way and i have a lot (so people say) of parts that need to be installed as well.

Also STI TMIC will do fine for budget builds, but its nice to have the aftermarket ones if you can afford the extra. Aftermarket is quite a bit bigger than STI

And I'm with 04caliwrx. why not go bigger? 18g is still a great street turbo on 2.0L and the extra power is even better. TRUST ME.. with a 16g youre just gonna want to go bigger sooner down the road. I've got my 16g and want to bump up to the 20g now..

I agree with getting the 20g especially if you are going to go e-85. I am in Livermore as well and my plan for e-85 includes me getting 9 5 gallon race cans and filling up once a month. I will be keeping the cans in a sealed shed out of the rain outside my garage.

Do you plan on a trany upgrade? I am going with the 20g on a 91oct tune till I get my tranny then I will do the e-85. if the 20g isnt enough I will go bigger after that.

Oh yeah pretty sure I spotted you the other day on Murietta and stanley.

Where in Livermore are you located? I RARELY see any subies and if I do, they give me the stank eye like WTF... I'm over by the lab in the new houses.

I just made a purchase of 18G turbo and turboXS TMIC from Speed Element. Mad props to Ryan for the hookups, if you see this. THANK YOU!

I was gonna go with EVO3 Big 16G but since im already spending that kind of money, might as well make the jump to an 18G.

I think I'll hold off on the E85 tune for now. I can always go that route in the future if I decide to kuz I have all supporting mods for it on the car.

I have an upgraded heavy duty clutch so thatll do for now. if i feel the need to, i'll look for an sti tranny perhaps...but that'll be a while
