here's a pic, it's the white piece of plastic you can see joining the two hoses.

I replaced the tee after the white piece in your picture you posted.

Should I replace the white piece you show in your picture?

 

yes.......replace the 2-ended piece between the wastegate T and the factory boost solenoid. this will improve the flow to the factory boost solenoid. this allows faster, stronger, and longer boost. what's happening is that the solenoid is seeing more air quicker than normal....this prevents the wastegate from dumping boost too early!!!!

i'm not sure if replacing the T does anything or not. i would think so, but the two guys that wrote about replacing the 2 ended hose coupling said just to replace that one piece.

i did it yesterday and there IS a NOTICABLE difference.......it cost me $1.63 and about 30 seconds under my hood!!!!!

 

I did replaced the tee and I to noticed a difference.
Maybe I will replace what you did also for evvven better spool up....
Have you done the grounding mod yet?? I did and it seems to run smoother. Less hesitation

 

I have a JoeP MBC and have no complaints. It is a simple valve that you adjust by hand and I get little to no spikes from it.
