Short Throw Shifter
Whats up guys & gals,
Today i test drove a WRX for the first time. Damn, what an experience...i started talkin #'s with the Dirc and he asked if i wanted the stock short shifter. It felt good, but i was almost convinced on the Kartboy. So all i want to know is should i save the money and get the Kartboy with bushings or go with the OEM???? thanks alot people. -Matt

The Kartboy shifter and bushings *should* be the optional factory shifter.

I Don't know if you guys realized this but this is the same thread as https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...&threadid=4762
You guys need to do a SEARCH or at least look at whats on the first page or two of treads. When this tread was started the other one was still on the first page.

What is really shortened?
Excuse me for the naive question...
So what is really shortened with a short shifter?
I assume the shifting distance is, ie. faster shift time
But is the shift stick shortened as well? I mean, do I have to have longer arm to shift if I already could barely shift to the 5th gear right now?
