SR30 vs. SR40

SR30 vs. SR40
Quite simply, i want to know how these 2 turbos compare...i am familiar with them but i am still not specificaly sure as to what the lag of the SR40 is and if the top end is worth that lag. As of now i feel that the SR30 is the much more streetable turbo for going round hair pin turns and the SR40 is more of the str8 line turbo. Let me know what you think or what experience you have.

i don't have either and have only been a car with a sr30 once. pretty much what you said though. sr30 quicker spool and more streetable. here's a link that should help some.

SR40
hi to you i am a dealer in israel i have the sr 30 40 and 50 you will find out that the sr 40 will be the best as it come on boost in 3600 rpm and the top power is amazing suru you need injectoers ecu fuel pump and ...... much more but the turbo is amazing i am still on the standared internals i am boosting 1.35 bar i have now in my car 350 bhp and in 1.6 bar 380 bhp so it does work
