Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Mine shakes too. Same way yours shakes, on and off. I've had my 02 since new and now has 56,000 miles with no problems. IMHO I wouldn't worry about it but if you know someone else that has a WRX compare the shake. If it is noticably worse take it in. If not I think its just normal engine activity. If it is bad maybe the previous owner put in STi motor/tranny mounts. Those will amplify the vibration.

I have had this occur on all of my subaru's the Forester with auto tranny was the first place I really noticed it, but it all checked out OK and I just got used to it.

My WRX does it pretty much all the time too, sitting at idle every few seconds it feels like a mis-fire or something, but it sounds smooth and the only real symptom is the little judder felt through the chassis like you describe.

I'd say just to ignore it, its what they do.

Funny, I just came on here to ask the same thing. so I'll post here.

I have a V2 manifold, helix up and down, and hks cat back

I just went cobb stage 2. everything works fine, car pulls harder after reflash.

But when I come to a stop sometime my car idles so low it stalls, this is a pain in the ***, especially when I'm doing a 2 point turn in reverse and it stalls when I let off the gas and push the clutch in. Most of the time it goes to 300rpms then goes to about 650, but usually once a day it stalls. it's been doing it for about 3 days, right after my flash.

Just wanted to know if there is an idle adjustment screw on or near the TB. or if i can adjust my cable to maybe make it idle a little higher. I have the service manual but I havn't had time to dig though it on my home computer yet. I just got a circle earth system hoping this will help a little. But if there is an idle adjuster that would make me happy.
