or am i losing my hearing? lol

seriously, i installed a dc sports catback about a month ago and when i fired her up, it was pretty loud. at idle it was a nice quiet burble, but when i stepped on it, it really screamed and not even at wot. not annoying, droning or anthing, but loud enough to make me think about investing in a silencer. i checked for leaks and all seemed o.k. sounded nothing like my 87 accord when it had a leak.

now in the last 2 weeks i though, either this thing is getting quieter, or i am just getting used to it. but yesterday i noticed that it is definately quieter! the silencer is no longer on my list. funny thing is, now i kinda miss it. lol!

ever happen to anyone?

 

i think your gettin used to it. plus exhaust tone changes after the muffler has been used for a bit.

 

make sure that all the bolts are tight. that happened to me on my old car and when i checked the bolts connecting my exhaust to the dp they were loose as hell and i had an exhaust leak
