scoop removal help. pics.

hi. i'm having trouble removing the scoop. don't laugh! i need to remove it in order to put in my fastline screen. anyways.. i've included a pic. i used different colors to highlight the different screws. i don't know how to take off the light blue. that attaches to the fireblanket.

anyways. if someone could tell me how to take off the scoop, that'd be awsome. use the pic for aid if you wish. i really wanna get that thing in soon.

funny lookin pic huh?

They pop with a little help and yes I think they make noise when you pry them. I dont remember if you really have to take them off but try and take a peek under the padding and see if there are any screws that need to be removed.

I have this article founded on the net. here is the abstract from it. the full link is URL=http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=235&highlight=grill%20a nd%20hood]here[/URL]. Credit shall be given to them.

I started by removing the hood scoop and then the front grill. These are both easy to do. There are some hidden screws under the insulation on the hood and you have to take the large piece first and then you can take off the scoop.

attached with the picture.
