Not worth it... not healthy. Search for compressor maps on our turbos on I-Club (if you know how to read them).

Once you go past a turbos efficiency range you get higher boost readings because as it self-describes, you have more pressure. But pressure comes from one of 2 things: more air mass or more air volume. As the turbo has to work harder it soaks heat into the compressing air from friction and turbine /exhaust gas. You get to the point where the heat from the system makes air so expanded that the pressure gets higher even though the mass of air you take in remains the same or even gets smaller. This basically means you are putting more stress on the whole system for nothing but the right to say "I boost 17psi". Not will be slower than everyone else but your turbo dies twice as quickly
