Having dynoed a car with and without the pulley, and having made no additional power either way, I see them as a waste of money. Some folks will tell you they *feel* faster response from the engine but I never saw any such thing from my Vishnu pulley. YMMV

i have the Perrin Pulley, IMO, it did little to nothing in terms or power, but you're be able to roll off first more easy + lower speed/rpm on rolling second starts, instend of having to stop to go to first, much smoother rev-match/shifting, to sum all that up, you're be able to drive or city cusise at a little lower speed per gear w/o the car feeling like its about to shall.

I read somewhere the aussie guys were throwin belts with em.
Then solved it by going to a metal wheel belt tensioner rather than the stock
plastic one.
