psi for stock turbo

my car is completely stock, is there a way to turn up the boost w/o having to pay for it? i mean like, is there a thing that shops can turn, or whatever to turn it up? curious, cause i need any extra power i can get, if i'll ever get it up to 500+ whp

Manual boost controllers can be had for cheap (a few dozen dollars). I've also heard of some people DIY'ing MBC's from supplies at Homo Depot (sorry, I hate that place
). I would suggest an electronic boost controller if you want to fiddle around and find peak boost for maximum power (get one with an integrated boost gauge too!).
I've also heard horror stories about the stock TD04 suddenly spiking to 21 psi for no apparent reason, but can't remember why...
