Ported TB?

Anyone running a real ported TB? Not polished. Any issues getting it to idle afterwards?

TIA,
k2

You haven't done it yet?

I just "cleaned" mine up a bit.

I've been very lazy. My buddy has been trying to get me to bring mine down so he can port it. t's my only ride though...I'll prolly do it in January. I 'll have the car down for a few days (FMIC,turbo, header etc.) so I'll do it then.

It'll be good for 12hp +/- 2hp, at all parts of the power band. And it'll reduce spool up.

Never boost on a cold engine. Simple as that. You will destroy your motor prematurely.

I look at it this way, every little helps. Plus, this is free and easy to do. How much HP? No one knows. But it should add some benifit and once again, it is FREE.

Instructions for this are on scoobymods.com right? Any possible harm to the car because of this? Or perhaps any disadvantages?
