I cant seem to piece together the crunch and bang you heard, but check to see if your uppipe undid itself. Check where it meets up to your header. Also check the EGT in the uppipe, it may have backed out.

I had a similar experience, other than the crunch and bang, but it was all related to my uppipe.

yeah, i agree, check ur egt, sounds like it's what fell out. other then that, maybe a heatshield or a hanger of some sort. give everything a little tug to see if it's still connected properly
