Stop...

thank you. now proceed to reading countless threads in Factory Forced Induction... in 3 months of reading, ask in Factory Forced Induction what mods you'd like to do.

turbo timer is a waste of money...these turbos are water cooled. blow off valve will probably hinder performance, not improve it. (it does provide a very cute whistle though) HKS exhaust is a good buy, maybe 10HP. intake will make it louder, no performance gains. the boost controller is good for another 1 1/2 - 2 lbs of boost...anymore and you're gonna run way lean without engine management.

ditto to what joltdudeuc said.

the reflash alone will score you 35 hp. you can have a solid 13 sec car with an uppipe, turboback, and reflash. all for less than $2,000...here are the mods that I have done:

K&N drop in $45
gruppe-s uppipe $139 (uninstalled)
helix downpipe $295 (uninstalled)
HKS catback $500
cobb reflash $395 (next mod...gotta convince the fiancee that its a good investment)

thats less than $1500 shipped (no labor) but I'm sure it can all be installed professionally for less than $500.

if you add an MBC into the mix, crank up the boost to 16lbs and you'll be rockin...so whoever you're getting the parts from (all or nothin) make sure its a pretty good deal, cause power can be had pretty inexpensively and by the looks of things most of those parts are "look at me" parts, not "watch me blow past you" parts.

i don't think those mods are a good idea if you're looking for money well spent and proven performance gains, as well as reliability. it would be better spent on an up-pipe/downpipe, cat-back exhaust or turboback (i guess the HKS would be good), and a reflash from cobb. i can guarantee it would make you smile for 2 reasons, one, you know that your money was well spent, and two, you will unleash that beast of a car that was kept from you when you bought it from the factory.

That has been reduced to this:
and this is still what i wouldn't do...

HKS CARBON-TI EXHAUST, BLITZ BOOST CONTROL. ALSO WITH THE STOCK PARTS.

The way I'd do it unless you plan on going in a straight line forever is.

1)easy suspension mods (F&R SB and STB's)

2) If you have the $$$ other pricey suspension mods (coilovers)

3) new tires! or if you want to fork out more $$$ new wheels/tires

4)BRAKES!!! (brake lines, fluid, pads at the very least... brake kit if you have the $$$) because you're going to need the stopping power for the next steps.

5)Turboback exhaust w/Hi flow cat (because driving a daily driver w/o a cat is irresponsible) and catless uppipe. Unless you're worried about smog tests. of course you can always go back to stock.

6)engine management (i.e. ECU etc.)

7) other engine mods to turn your car into liquid sheit.
