overheating with new radiator

I just installed a PWR radiator and zerosport thermostat and I seem to be overheating, My needle is hitting 3/4 of the way up on idle. I'm using 70% distilled water and 30% prestone antifreeze with some redline water wetter. Is there air trapped in the cooling system that is casusing me to overheat; if so, how do I get it out to fix the problem. Any help would be great.

Why do you think there may be air in the system? Didn't you bleed it, if not that can be the cause.

yup,
I didn't bleed it. I just got done doing it for a while. But the needle still seems that it reads around the stock area. I will try it some more to see if it still has air in it.

Turn the heater on and let the possible trapped air escape from there as well. I have a MRT radiator and there is no change in where the "needle" on the stock temp gauge reads even after the burping of the system.

Yeah bro, the needle should stay in the same general location.
The engine needs to be within a certain temp range to run properly.

I just finished up last night and no overheating. So I guess all of the air is out. Thanks for the info guys.
