recently I have been noticing this wierd sound. I only hear it when the turbo is spooling up in every gear right after i start it up wether its hot or cold. usally at just partial throttle but it does it at full throttle occasinaly. it almost sounds to me like its the turbo bearing or something like that.
I think its time for a trip to the dealer

That's the turbo spinning sound like air suck into a hole or like you breath in the air by mouth in round shape. the more air sucks in the higher pitch of sound. Is that what you taking about?

 

no thats not the sound cause I hear that sound also but only at certain times there will be a much louder sound that doesn't really sound like its air moving but it only happens when they turbo is on or comming on boost but mostly when part throttle and then will sometimes go away at wot

 

well I have an HKS bov and an hks evc boost controller, stock exhaust and I was running 16 psi TOPS and I un hooked it after I started hearing the sound and I am still hearing it only not quiet as loud could it just maybe be an exhaust leak and when it gots hot enough it seals up?

 

so does anyone have any ideas on what it could be or what I could check? i know this isn't a normal sound.
