Let me just preface this by saying that I know very little about cars in general. Now, onto my problem. I drive a 2003 all stock wrx and have recently noticed an abnormal sound coming from the turbo when I'm accelerating. It starts to happen around 3500rpms and it almost sounds like the normal wooshing sound from the turbo. However it's much louder and to me (although I may be too used to the car) it seems like there is a tad loss of power. I took it to my dealer to have them look at it, but they can never fix anything (it once took me 5 visits and 9 months to get something fixed there). Of course the dealer said nothing was wrong, but it still seems like there is. Oh and this problem coincidentally did not start until after the dealer finally fixed the problem that took 9 months for them to complete (replaced the clutch rod I think). I'd almost say that under hard acceleration that the sound is louder than the engine itself. Am I being paranoid or do I have a real problem?

Oh, my car has about 8500 miles on it and the problem started at about 7100 miles.
