Porting turbo

I have a VF22 and wanted to send it off to Deadbolt Speed to get them to perform their Monster Port and Polish service on the turbo. Is it worth it? What kind of gains/difference will I see after it's been P&P'd? Thanks.

yes, its worth the $200 or so that he charges. on the VF22, the biggest benefit is going to be reducing the time that it takes that big turbo to spool, and to decrease turbo lag. its not going to increase the peak power that you're able to make by much, but it'll make the powerband significantly wider than it would be with a non-modified VF22.
