Define "best". If by "best" you mean the fastest 1/4 mile time, you rev to 6 grand and side step the clutch. You should be able to do this at leat 20 times (maybe several hundred times) before you need to open up your transmission and replace first gear. Alternatively, you can rev to 4,500 and slip the clutch. This will yield only slightly slower times and you will be replacing your clutch rather than your transmission.
If by "best" you mean a reasonably quick start AND you don't want to be spending major sterling on your ride, you can get a reasonably quick start (on my USDM gear ratios) by slipping the clutch at 2,500 rpm's or so. I have never smelled burning clutch using this method and I have no indication of trouble on my transmission at 35Kmiles, time will tell I guess. I believe the Euro spec cars have shorter effective gear ratios, so it is not really an apples to apples comparison.

I would also like to know what that means?
I don't even know where to begin as far as thinking wise. I just recently found out what "slipping" the clutch was.... I thought that was just as bad as dumping the clutch... because then your burning it out slowly right?

pretty much. clutch to floor, floor gas, move clutch foot to the side thereby popping the clutch. It's a great way to make smoke and heat up the rear tires on a muscle car. Not a good idea in an awd car without sponsorship of some sort.

you got it, you keep the revs high as the clutch is slipping which keeps boost up. If you're after the fastest drag launch possible, I'd imagine it takes quite a bit of practice. I've done it 3 or 4 times in my car on the street from about 4K rpm without much trouble, but I have no idea how my 60' times would compare to that of a good drag racer, my guess is the launches were mediocre (at best) by drag standards. I will say the car goes like stink when launched like this, a real slingshot sensation similar to a motorcycle! That clutch smell is dag nasty, though.
