Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

this came up a couple of days ago and I cleared it because car was running fine. Has any one else been getting cylinder 1 missfire codes, or any 302,303,304 codes? I've been running Cobb stage 2 91 octane for awhile now and this just showed up. A friend has a stock 04 wagon that this happened to and the dealer said the car was running fine and that the ecu was messed up and then sent the ecu to NJ to get fixed.

Do you still have the stock flywheel and pullys? if the Cobb stage 2 involves changing pullys that's probably your culprit.

In my case its the flywheel and nobody has offered any suggestion on how to go about fixing it

psoper,

"international B" might know.

xom,

do you have a 100% atmo BOV? Sometimes the flashed or base maps for the utec run very rich to be on the very safe side. Coupled with an 100% atmo BOV this can dump a ton of fuel when shifting, occasionally causing a misfire. (Happened to me with a p0304)
