So everythings goin fine at the track, i hit my current personal best of a 13.5, on my next run everythings great till about 3rd gear.. all of a sudden my car starts to bog out and my check engine light starts flashing this last for about 10 seconds then everythings cool.
Come today im takin it pretty easy just doing some daily driving and all of a sudden my car starts "bogging out" and now my check engine light is on constantly!
I went out and bought a code reader and the code im getting is the "P0301"
misfire detected in cylinder #1

what do you guys think that means? Id really love to hear that its something like bad gas... or spark plug. Anyhelp would be great, im leaving for a 2 week military school on tuesday, however id really like to get this figured out.

hmm, usually when the check engine light flashes, it mean DETENATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! did you let off the gas when it came on at tracks?

anyways, i had a similiar problem. might be the spark plug or your coil packs not firing for some odd reason...

 

I agree with the above... sounds like you might have a spark problem. (hopefully that is all)

double check coil packs...did it feel like you were losing power or something....

 

ya definitely felt like i was loosing power.. especially when the turbo was kickin on...
