What is the top speed a USDM Wrx can go??? Wondering if there is anyone out there that has attempted...

Your real problem is wind resistance at those speeds IMO

I dont think they can put a speed limiter on a turbo car. correct me if I'm wrong but doesnt a speed limiter cutt off fuel at a certain speed? if you were at full boost when you hit a limiter...kaboom right? my scoobie just wouldnt go any faster than 140, I didnt feel a fuel cut off cause when that those things kick in, you really feel it. I think if it was lowered then that would have cut down on the wind resistance.

I haven't gotten past 100 yet in my WRX. I guess i'm a wuss. No, really i'm just affraid to lose my lisence. It's cool to see what your car can do, but just be careful about it.

i had a friend take a picture while it was all stock on I5 going to socal from norcal.
speedometer read close to 145, but i heard readings are inaccurate, so prolly going 130s?

i wanted to know if anyone had a problem when they went above 120+ and it made a wierd whistling noise. Is it normal to hear something that loud in the inside?
