well do you want a balanced car? all hp? or all handling? Your question is rather vague.

I got wheels and tires and suspension first because I wanted to get rid of the stock look and then for some extra power i did exhaust with uppipe and downpipe.

IMO the first thing you should do is 17" wheels with some nice sticky tires.

i'd get rims with tires. getting tires alone is not the best deal. Can't sell your tires for very much anyways. might as well use em.

i'd do a cat. let people hear you.

my next mod will be rims and tires. looks and all.
oh yeh!! clear the headlights.

It depends on how much $ you have to start with. If I only had $300 I'd get an upipe first but if I had $600 I'd buy an Accessport first.

Headers, up pipe,TBE, bigger turbo and all the accessories, and Engine management. This will get you over 300 engine hp. These are good bolt ons for hp. You could get a 2.2 stroker kit, or do a STi engine swap. Depends on your budget. The wrx is pretty powerful with just exhaust and engine management. Remember with great power comes great responsibility. Make sure you can stop it, and handle it. I would do a little power for now and alot of brakes and handleing. Power will come.

Good brake upgrade is better pads, lines and fluid. Maybe 4 pots and bigger rotors.

Good handleing upgrades are 17" rims with good tires. Hell even the 16" rims just scrap the re92's. Swaybars, endlinks, coilovers, bushings and so on.

Good luck.

Just don't do NOS!!!!!!

Most people here say upipe first and there is nothing wrong with doing it first with no other exhaust mods. I dont have mine in yet but I've heard that the upipe will make the car a little louder but mostly just a deeper tone. As for engine management the Accessport is the hot thing right now, its simple and from what I've read its the safest (with the exception of one thread I,ve read). Read up on it here http://cobbtuning.com/wrx/accessport.html
