Intercooler fitment

I have a 2004 WRX (auto) with up/down pipe, turbo back exhaust, intercooler and inlet hoses, radiator shroud all Perrin products,K&N panel filter, utec with stage 2 & remote,Brembo GT front brakes 17"wheels/Yoko es100.....My question is:
Has anybody had fitment problems with a Perrin top mounted intercooler??
AND what turbo would you run if you were looking for the fastest spool up time and the highest wheel HP ???
Please Advise :confused

for the turbo issue, i was told that the vf23 would be pretty good for quicker spool up.

what exhaust are you are using?

Thanks for the heads up on the turo....
The exhaust is Perrin cat back with hi flo cat in midpipe and Perrin up and down pipe ..I have had zero problems with these products till I tried to install the intercooler .....I gave it back to distributor for repalce or refund ,and his car was stolen WITH the intercooler in the back seat .....I was just wondering if anyone else has had fitment problems with this or any other intercooler

If you had fitment issues, you didn't follow the installation instructions or something else is causing the issue.

And the VF23 or the VF35.

I would have to agree with you about not reading the directions if it had been me who tried... An intercooler install is very straight forward operation right ? Well I am trying to figure out why the shop I had install it took 4 hours to say it would't fit And are they ripping me off with the labor charge OR does Perrin have poor quality control and thus fitment problems ...Your input please, if you have any experience with this companies intercooler
