i dont have an CAI my intake is a short ram

 

i have a cobb catback, and thought it was pretty darn quiet for an aftermarket exhaust. after installing the up/down(last week) it is a whole different beast.

the gas mileage will almost definately go down, from you trying to make backfire and making noise. at least that's what happened to me.

i also got the stage 2 from an AP, so it is an incredible amount of power.

be wary of areas that people are known to get pulled over by cops. i now have to stay out of waikiki, since everyone gets pulled over

yes...... thats a restricted area! well ever since i have auto-x'd my WRX on monday...... my exhaust tone has been very deep, and several times my car has shot flames(fire *****-sounded like a shot gun) according to my friend that was behind me. and i was not even punching it....... it was driving normal...... it came out from 1st to 2nd, shifted at like 3500 rpm. i know that i am running pretty rich....... hopefully the computer learns and teachs it to not to dump so much fuel..... cuz it was reading good at the track day(bye bye gas mileage!) yes i still have the stock ECU. <should i reset the ECU(battery disconnect thing) so it clears itself? just a thought. your guys input would be very much appreciated. thanks

 

bra its not that bad. i go all the time i have neva been pulled over. anyway the answer to my question is really ****in loud. i got my upand dwon pipe installed at gruppe-s today and now i got to go get one glass pack, cuz i goin get pulled over soon. dam cali cops

 

well its has been really different recently..... i guess its just how lucky you are and how the cop feels when you pass...... its kinda hard to find cops that are cool in that area. well ever since i put on my up/down pipe.... i have passed there like twice. i was the lucky ones, well on the on the other hand... my car is black soo it does stand out that much.
