Okay, so after the up-pipe is in and everything is back together, I get to the resistor that will supposedly fix my CEL light for the EGT sensor. Well, I have inserted the resistor and my car still throws a CEL. So I figured that there might be a chance that it is not making a good connection and proceeded to search this forum for an answer. I found it, and tried soldering the sensor to the male side of the connector. With that done I reset the ECU and pressed on the brake several times to turn-off the CEL light on the guage cluster. This has not worked either!!! My car is still showing a CEL and I cannot figure out why. Any help right now would be greatly appreciated.
