Help me PLEASE!!
Ok so this is what happened.
I was driving my car for about a half an hour and it was running perfectly fine. i got almost to my house but came to a stop because there was a bus in front of me. I come to a stop and i had the music playing and the car is sorta shaking im like thats not normal so i turn off the music and the car is like stalling out but studdering. so i give it some revs and it studders but i keep it running, so i make the left onto the street that my house is on and i give it gas and its like studdering like putt putt putt, so i get it to the top of the hill and push in the clutch and its like putt putt and just stalls out so i just coast to my house. I pull into the driveway and try to start it again and as soon as i start it, it goes putt putt putt and then stalls out.
I have had an maf sensor check engine light go on me and i think that might be what it was, but i've had it on for like 2 weeks now, i was just coming back from getting the gasket to fix that but its been running fine why all of a sudden is my car being retarded
please help me

What code did it throw?
Do you have any aftermarket intake or filter?
Have you done/changed anything since you got the code pulled? Why do you need a new gasket?
That ought to get us started....

forgot what the code numbers were but it was for the maf sensor
i havn't done any more modes since i've gotten the cel for the maf sensor which was right after i had put my up pipe in
and the reason the gasket between the downpipe and the midpipe have to be replaced is because when i removed the downpipe to do hte up pipe the gasket got taken off so it didn't seat the same way so its not sealing correctly and why i have a leak and why we believe im throwing an maf sensor.
the mods are as follows
helix up and down pipe
blitz nurspect cat back
everything else is stock no k&n filter and no intake

check the cable to the maf sensor, maybe it backed off somehow? if its not that, check to see if the pin has been tugged out of the connector.

hmmm i don't know what it is, because now my car is running perfectly fine
gahhhhhhhh i wish i had one of those computers looks like it will have to wait till wednesday dammit

When you installed you uppipe, did your srew in the bolt that is holding in the #2 ignition plug? Because that is the same bolt that hold the sensor cable and the ignition plug WILL fall out without this bolt. I suggest this because I have the EXACT same problem after I installed my uppipe. MIL light comes on and car feels like its gonna stall. #2 inigition plug is the one closer to the firewall on the passenger side, where your up-pipe runs. Let me know if this helps.

my car did the same thing after an up/downpipe install...check engine light came on blinking and i had the code pulled...i forgot the code but it was misfire in cylinders 1 and 3...next day, my car ran fine...don't know what caused it
