Help.... Im a Newbeeeee

Yup i got my Wrx saturday night. and i want my car to make the pppppsssssstttt or wwwwoooooossshhhhh sound when i shift ive searched the site and i found alot of mods but can u guys help me out i want it to sound cool and can i crush my bov or will it just make my car slower thanks for ur help

You can get more intake noise by simply removing the intake resonator. Aside from that I wouldn't mess with the BOV.

Check scoobymods.com for the resonator removal. You'll need a 10mm combination-end wrench and a jack. And be willing to crawl around under the car.

The hks bov has worked wonders for me too. Great sound imo. You may also want to check out the worx tuning bov. I hear that that one is fantastic with its dual stage.

oh yeah - just make sure you get the new version. You'll know because it should say version 1.2. And the new ones have WORX printed on the top.

Car Info: gc w/ neons and a wrx that needs neons

just a lil side note, you do know that your car may start running a bit rich right? and don't expect a power increase either.
i would like to get one after i get a turbo back, cuz it does sound nice.

i took off the silcener but i still dont get the loud sound. my friend has a GSX with exhaust and i can hear his stock bov like a block away... what if i put a aftermarket air filter in like short ram will i get the sound i want.
