Question Heat Shield question

I just installed my up-pipe but didn't keep the heatshields that are underneath and above the up-pipe. What are the pro/cons to the removal of these 2 heatshields?

Thanks for the responses.

there isnt much pro's about not having heat shields, well maybe that youll have less to remove if you need to redo something.
the con is that there would be more heat under the hood.

It's probably a good idea to put them back on since you don't want to expose your intercooler to more heat. Plus you don't want the cops to have an easy view of that aftermarket downpipe.

Put the top one back...the bottom one is not really needed.
