heat coatings for heat shield/IC?
i was wondering if anyone thinks it might be beneficial to do some sort of heat coating on my cobb heat shield. i was thinking about getting a roll of the DEI Cool-Tape and covering the inside of the heat shield, and adjacent faces of IC (obviously not including finned part).
would the tape make any difference?
would it be better to try a spray on coating for the heat shield?
are all of these idea horrible?
just lookin for some input

My Cobb heat shield is Crucial coated, and it disperses heat very quickly.
For something as basic as the Cobb heat shield, I would look into coating it yourself with an off the shelf product.
Turbo wrap is good stuff, and turbo blanket seem to be especially effective.
