GT35R upgrade

Hey my car had been sitting down for a while cuz i went away, and i came baq and decided to do some major upgrades, so i started pullin it apart and to my surprise my FMIC was full of water and the pip leading up the the intake manifold was also full of water luckily i didn start the car. Ok im goin forge now on my ej20 with some wiseco piston and eagle rods and slappin on a GT35R turbo, quick question this turbo doesn have an internal wastegate, where is the best place to mount the external wastegate ?
