I noticed a fall off around 22500 miles. I had a free Saturday morning, so I installed a new set of stock NGK plugs and gained response 4200rpm and up, and also got rid of an annoying slight stumble at 3500 under wide throttle openings. It takes some work and a plug socket with a shorty 3/8" extension, but most people with patience can do it. PM me if you have questions.....

Honestly, a good way to get that "old power feeling" back is to change the oil, change the air filter, change the plugs, change the coolant (can't hurt) and do an ECU reset. After the reset go take your car for a HARD, LONG drive. You can do the Vishnu reset (drive 5-10 seconds at 2600 RPM and 2-4psi boost) or drive like a SOB to "train" the ECU to drive good again. I've noticed that my car has a lot more power after I've beaten the tar out of it. (glowing turbo and smoking brakes means you've driven hard enough
)
Try these things, and see if your power comes back. If not, then you might have a more serious problem.

Try this: don't drive your WRX for a few days or a week or so. Drive your significant other's car or the family car for that period of time, or don't drive at all. Then hop back into your WRX after that and see if you were really just getting used to the power or if it really is indeed getting boggy.
