FMIC question

i have a front mount that is getting ready to be installed.

i was wondering how safe it is if i want to lay a thin layer of flat black on the front mount to keep it kinda stealthy?

will spray paint effect the airflow greatly?

or what kind of paint can i use?

If you paint too thick, you will get some airflow blockage. Also, most paints act as an insulator, even if you paint a thin coat, which will damage your efficiency.

But, if you get a paint specifically for radiators, it should work. I remember a company called Eastwood or something makes a paint that might work.

Send it to Jeremy at Crucial Racing and ask for the thermal dispersant for your intercooler. It is a glossy black and helps with performance.
