Does anyone know what causes that fluttering noise when I am at full boost? (18 psi) All started when I installed ebc. (Greddy Profec B Spec 2)

 

i hope you are not running 18psi on stock turbo... if you are TURN THAT ISH DOWN to about 15.5-16psi. that fluttering noise could be a # of things. most likely wastegate flutter, or the solinoid of the boost controller it self.

 

I'm running a turboxs stage 4 fmic on my car. Sounds like it may be my wastegate. Is it normal to have that fluttering sound?

 

yeah, flutter is normal. what turbo you using?

 

I'm using a vf34 turbo.

 

I just installed my new intake and discovered the exact same noise. Scared me for a few minutes until I figured out what it was. It is semi annoying though. Is there anyway to get rid of the wastegate flutter noise?
