Fluttering noise after tbe install
Fluttering noise after tbe install
I just got my crucial racing turbo back system installed.
fitment was perfect, hardest was just getting the dp and heatshield out
anyways, everything is all good, started, went for a test drive and i noticed this weird fluttering noise that fluctuate with my throttle coming from the turbo/dp area, is this normal or is something a foot?
another thing is, they provided me with 2 normal gaskets and 1 dp gasket.
i used the gaskets on dp to turbo, dp to cat and catted pipe to catback pipe and no gasket on catback pipe to muffler pipe.(i dont know what these pipes are actually called :x ) is this alright?
so any input might help me greatly. my guess is that the sound is coming from the wastegate since it was blocked off from the factory dp.

OK. Problem found.
The rattle sound was comming from a loose o2 sensor plug/nut. i found out the same night, as i was driving the nut fell off, i didnt tighten it, just didnt cross my mind. so for those who plan on getting crucial downpipe or other dp with o2 sensor hole, make sure to tighten it...i now have a exhaust leak in my engine bay and in search of matching nut that will go in there or wait for crucialracing to send me one.
