dont really know what i want??
so i kind of want a front mount, not really for power but for the looks of it. (i like taking pictures)
so i was thinking of a cheap ssac which works pretty good
but at the same time my goal for my 07 wrx tr is close or above 300hp
quick spoolin
i like the 20g because of the power it can offer but it will cause too much lag for me. im not trying to race or anything
just trying to have tasteful modds for my own liking.

I think going front mount intercooler soley for looks is a bit silly imo....but to each their own.
As far as a turbo setup goes, what is your budget? Also, who is going to tune it? Many tuners prefer certain turbos, intakes, etc...you dont want to buy somthing that your tuner doesnt like or cant get the best results with.

let me help you out.
1) buy a core, and just have it behind the bumper. fmic look done.
2)get a retune with the stock turbo. super fast spoolin, 300hp done.
reasons for giving the advice that i did because it meets your requirements. Having the SSAC fmic will cause additional lag on the car when utilized with the stock turbo, and since you've already stated you dont want to compromise lag, and the sole purpose of the fmic is for taking pictures, that works great. The car retuned will net you around 300hp crank. Stock puts you around 230right? With full bolt ons and retune, some people see around 210+ whp, whereas a stock car will dyno around 170 or so. So that'll meet your personal tasteful goal of 'close to or near 300hp"
