well im faced with a decison of wut kind of exhuast i should go with. i was looking at the turbo xs cuz it has a cat but its kinda xpensive. i was also looking at the exhaust at MPJ the borla(hush) with the helix up and down pipes, but i was worried about the smell and all the hastle i might recieve for running catless. so i was wondering wut the power difference if any would it be if i jst ran with a helix up and down combo with the stock muffler. any advice would be nice thanks

just go with the helix up/dp and borla hush from mpj. Our cars catless don't smell at all like other cars get when catless (that rotten egg smell). The only thing is u get some more fumes when in a garage. Also with the borla hush it's very quite and looks stock so you won't be hassled from the cops unless your doing somethign really stupid and they just happen to inspect your exhaust.
And finally your last piece of advice, leave the little kiddie pretending to fight/bash each other off the forums

Yea i Just picked up this same set-up today w/jeremy in fact.
I don't know how i feel about the slip-type joints on the borla hush cat-back tho as it seems like a poor design.
For instance, at the flange where the borla catback connects to the DP ( or cat ) the piping tapers for about a 1/4inch(length) of an inch to maybe 2.5inch piping(diameter). I wonder if that has any effect on flow?

Hey Jeremy, what mods do you have....if you are stock right now, IMO i would get your ECU reflashed and an up-pipe, or the up-pipe and downpipe combo with a re-flash that MPJ has (gino and mike are da ish)

A catless car WILL stink. In traffic, or parked you will definitely smell that sucker when it's running. Women don't like that smell.
Keep a cat just to keep the stink down, and have something to point to in case Joe Law wants to look under your car!
