hi guys, i just bought a 95' WRX Wagon from a friend & i'm new to EJ20.
Why is dat when i'm cruising around in town like 45-80kmp, the engine dies off suddenly? & i have to pop the clutch to bring it back to life again. sumtime the engine dies off too even the car just parked with the engine running like during traffic light.
I have a HKS FCD connected to the ECU, it has CUT & NORMAL with the reading level from 1 to 12, which level should i tune to for a stock engine? or is that the causing of the dying engine? should i take the FCD off?
i'm worried it might be my AFM or the ECU troubleshooting.
pls help me......tks a lot guys........
hope to hear from u guys soon........

in Brunei the 95' WRX version 2 were the 1st shiftment & the one i bought was the 1st one on the road back in 95'. i love this WRX wagon for a long........time oredy. i wonder hows a version 1 look like!?
anyway, i got the AFM fixed oredy i guess, have a wiring expertist friend fixed it for me. he said sumtime things arent broken, it's getting old so it wear off or socket pins loosen. he then tighten up all the socket pins, now the car at the moment wont dies off. hopefully that will work.
but when i'm in a high speed like 120- 140 kmh, i shift to free gear & let go the gas pedal, the car dies off. should i check my idling? now it read 800-1000rpm even with or without the a/c on.
anyone can help me? tks bro..........
