EGT question
Just got a gutted uppipe not sure if I should put the EGT back in or just plug it with a bolt. If I put in the EGT, will it burn out?
Thanks!

I asked GST the same question. They told me the EGT sensor will not blow out (at least on stage 2). Somewhat of an urban legend. It also serves as a good plug. Just make sure you do the resistor mod to the plug.

Are you using your EGT as plug with no problems?
I saw one guy post on nasioc saying he used his EGT for over 20k for logging w/o probs. I think I'm gonna grind off the EGT probe and use as a plug and solder in the resistor somehow so everything looks untouched
I doubt anyone will look closely at my uppipe but if I get pulled over or smogged, that is one piece I do not want to replace!
