Do I need to buy an EGT sensor when I purchase a EGT tem gauge or does it come with ?

Do I need to buy an EGT sensor when I purchase a EGT tem gauge or does it come with ?
Jus curious, cus I seen them for sale on a site and didn't know if they were a replacment or if you had to buy one with the gauge itself.

it depends on the model and the brand. you can buy some gauges that are just gauges and you can buy complete gauges with sensors and wiring. make sure you read the product discription or call whomever you are purchasing from.

I'm almost positive that will come with all the hardware you need. I have a greddy EGT gauge and it had everything.
