cylinder #2 & #3 misfire

so does anyone know what i should change before i take it in. i was hoping i could change as many things so that i save on labor prior to having a mechanic look at it. i am at 46,XXX and i changed the spark plugs, tranny fluid, rear diff fluid, oil, brake fluid(just wanted to tell all i have done). i was thinking about draining the coolent, but i have also heard that since the 2nd and 3rd cylinder do that during the summer cause they're next to the turbo and heat up. any ideas? i was thinking about getting a new fuel filter...maybe....
dunno.

you should swap out the fuel filter at around 30k. maybe that will help.
and try to clean all the connections that lead to the spark.

is the car still misfiring?? is fuel pressure good?? is the injectors firing... check power and ground?? is fuel quality good....... i heard of misfires from "bad" gas. it may be dirty injectors. has the car been sitting for along time?? maybe coils.... could be a problem in wiring harness or ECU in the worst case scenerio(lets hope not). check the wiring harness(maybe next to the turbo) from the coils if its chafing or something..... here is my 2 cents. hope this helps and good luck!

hmm, i currently have a cel that indicates misfire in cylinder 4.. i thinks my problem is due to having a rip in my turbo inlet hose... therefore casing me to run rich and have carbon build up on my spark plug... maybe re check your plugs..

awesome, thankx for the idea's. the car was sitting around for a while(i bought it with a salvaged title, but had commuted and put about 9,000 miles on it in the last 7 months). for some reason, the CEL just disappeard the other day, but i plan on checking if my spark plug wires are still good. i will look into a new feul filter and plan on using some of that STP fuel injector cleaner, but will that work all that well?

thankx again to everyone.
