CUSTOM catback leak!!

I have a turboback for my 03 WRX. I have a HKS downpipe and a custom catback with a performance muffler. I was at Monroe Mufflers today getting my oil changed and I just had see if i had an exhaust leak. The guy tells me that there seems to be some leak where they welded. Now shuold I go and get the cement stuff for the exhaust or go back and try to have them take it off and re-weld the joints? (FYI the guy who put it in is a real a$$hole. Only reason why I went to him was he cut me a deal) I have a feeling that he would make me pay more $$$ for the job.
Would I lose performance? Sometimes the noise that the exhaust makes it real high pitched...What should I do? PLEEEEAASE HEEELP a fellow SUBY owner out.

Ask the guy who did it first to fix it. If he tries to charge you, go somewhere else, and let everyone know what an asswipe the first guy is.
