coolant leak

coolant leak

I have a problem with a coolant leak on my 02. i can hear it and smell it but can't find the leak. its near the coolant reservoir and the turbo area. you can hear it drip onto the down pipe. can anyone give me some directions so i start trouble shooting? thanks for reading my thread.

There should be two hoses right on top of the reservoir. Check there first. I had a similar problem and I had to buy new clamps to ensure they were tight.

u sure its not the A/c water line? the condensation from ur a/c is poured right out on top of ur dp

i haven't ran my a/c all summer because i have a leak somewhere but ill take a look at it. as for the two hoses on the reservior tank i haven't replace them yet. but i replaced the one on the buttom right. where is a good place to find the hoses if i need to replace them. thanks for help.

Your A/C has NOTHING to do with your coolant system. Do you mean that you also have a (whatever they call the Freon replacement) leak as well?

im not too familar with the turbo. but are there coolant lines running into the turbo or lines around it?
