clutch help!
Hello i have a 2004 wrx. and today my clutch seemed to engage softer then usual, and when i take off from first gear at a stop like the clutch seems really hesitant, no burning clutch smell or anything.. i am able to take off by 2k rpms, its just the pedal itself feels really vibrating when engadged half way down but feels normal when pushed all the way down, does this sound like I need a new clutch or a minor ajdustment, the car seems the same as in power and i can shift at any rpm with out worries just the light feeling in the clutch and the problem when taking off?? thanks for the help. I bought the car from the dealer and i still have a 30 day warranty what should i do ? thanks for the help.
also when checking for play .. in the clutch it doesnt seem to have any at all maybe just a little but one pushed down i get the hesitant feeling up to about half way .. then when i push it down fully i fail to notice it .
23k miles... i just have a boost controller that the car came w/ when i bought it from the dealer, and a hks bov.. i think i might take it in but i wanted to see what the issue was first so i dont get played! thanks for the reply

if you get a spongy feeling it might be as simple as adding some more fluid into the reservoir and bleeding the line.
Try this, because my friend had a somewhat similar problem...
take your foot off the clutch pedal
reach down and try pulling up with you hand
if the pedal goes up more when you pull on it then you have air in the line and need to bleed it
