Clicking Noise from the rear

So recently ive experienced clicking noises from the rear area while driving on the driver side, but it only happens when the car is not driven for a while (as in the morning or night after work) the noise is only audible while moving from speeds of 1-40 mph and only gets louder while higher in rpm's. once i drive for a bit it doesnt make any noise and wont come back until car is left for a period of time from 1 hour+ my thoughts it could be axle, axle nut or at worst diff? but

car is a 02 wrx 160k miles

Wheel bearing. That'd be my first guess.
