What is the procedure for cleaning a foam filter (Perrin)? Anyone know what type oil is used?
I have only had K&N filters before and I don't think the chemicals are the same used with foam.

 

its about the same method as you would for the K&N. A few companies sell the kits to clean the foam filters. You can prolly go down to your local dirt bike shop and get everythign you need from them. Im not super positive on the oil they use, but I have used the K&N oil on a foam filter before with no problems, well at least I didnt see any
